Welcome to Marttins Cleanings. By accessing our website and engaging our services, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before booking.
1. Services Overview
Marttins Cleanings provides residential and commercial cleaning services including but not limited to: Standard Cleaning, Deep Cleaning, Move-In/Move-Out Cleaning, and Office Cleaning.
All services are performed based on the scope agreed upon during consultation. Any additional tasks requested on the day of service may incur extra charges and are subject to cleaner availability.
2. Booking & Scheduling
2.1 Reservations
All bookings are subject to availability. A confirmed booking requires completion of our intake form and acceptance of your quote.
2.2 Cancellation & Rescheduling

24-hour notice required for all cancellations or rescheduling requests.

Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled service may incur a fee of up to 50% of the quoted service price.

Same-day cancellations or no-access to property (lockout) will be charged at the full service rate.
2.3 Arrival Windows
We provide estimated arrival times. While we strive for punctuality, factors such as traffic, weather, or extended previous appointments may cause delays. We will communicate any significant delays promptly.
3. Payment Terms
3.1 New Clients
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your first booking. The remaining 50% is due upon completion of the service. Work will not commence until the deposit is received.
3.2 Recurring Weekly Clients
Payment is due at the time of each service. Upon mutual written agreement, weekly clients may transition to monthly billing, payable in advance.
3.3 Fixed (Non-Weekly) Clients
Payment is due on the day of service, upon completion.

We do not accept credit cards. Marttins Cleanings does not pass processing fees (typically 2–3%) to clients. By avoiding card processing, we keep pricing fair and transparent for everyone.
3.5 Late Payments
Payments not received within 24 hours of service completion may incur a late fee of $15 per day until settled. Continued non-payment will result in suspension of services and potential collection action.
4. Access to Property
4.1 Entry
Client must provide access to the property at the scheduled time. Acceptable methods include:

Being present to admit the cleaning team

Providing a key, door code, or garage code

Arranging access through a property manager or agent
4.2 Lockout Policy
If the cleaning team cannot access the property within 15 minutes of arrival and cannot reach the client, the service will be cancelled and charged at the full rate.
5. Trash & Disposal
5.1 Included
Standard residential waste bins (kitchen, bathroom, office) are emptied and relined as part of regular cleaning services. Bagged trash is placed in designated exterior bins.
5.2 NOT Included
The following items are not included in standard services and require pre-arrangement with additional fees:

Bulk items (furniture, mattresses, large household goods)

Construction or renovation debris (drywall, lumber, tiles, carpet)

Electronics (televisions, computers, monitors, appliances)

Hazardous materials (paint, chemicals, solvents, motor oil, batteries, pesticides)
-
Medical waste (sharps, medications, biohazard materials)
-
Tires, automotive parts, or flammable substances
-
Any items requiring special municipal collection, permits, or disposal fees
If non-standard trash is left for disposal without prior agreement, Marttins Cleanings reserves the right to leave those items untouched and will not be responsible for their removal.
6. Client Responsibilities
6.1 Preparation
To ensure efficient service, clients should:

Declutter surfaces to be cleaned (we clean surfaces, not organize personal items)

Secure valuables, sensitive documents, and cash
-
Inform us of any broken, fragile, or delicate items
-
Notify us of any areas requiring special attention or avoidance
6.2 Parking & Access Logistics
6.2.1 Parking
Reasonable parking must be provided or arranged for our cleaning team at no
additional cost. This includes:

Driveway or designated residential parking space
-
Valid visitor parking permits for gated communities, condominiums, or apartment complexes
Commercial loading zones or designated vendor parking for office location
6.2.2 Parking Fees
Any parking fees, meters, garages, or paid lots required to access your property
are the responsibility of the client. These costs will be added to your service
invoice unless a fee-free option is arranged in advance.
6.2.3 Restricted Access
For properties with security gates, front desk check-in, or elevator restrictions,
clients must:
- Provide gate codes or access credentials at least 24 hours before service
- Register our team with building management or security when required
- Arrange freight elevator reservations for buildings requiring them
Failure to arrange access resulting in delay or cancellation will follow our
standard cancellation policy (Section 2.2).
6.3 Pets
For the safety of both our team and your pets:

Secure pets in a safe area away from cleaning zones

Inform us of any aggressive or anxious pet behaviors

Marttins Cleanings is not liable for pets escaping due to doors being opened during service
6.4 Valuables & Breakables
While we exercise the utmost care with every item in your home, clients are advised to:

Secure or remove irreplaceable items, heirlooms, and high-value objects
-
Notify us of loose fixtures, unstable furniture, or pre-existing damage prior to service

Marttins Cleanings is not responsible for damage to items not disclosed as fragile or pre-damaged
7. Service Limitations
The following are not included in standard cleaning services unless explicitly quoted and agreed upon:

Exterior window washing

Carpet shampooing or steam cleaning (available as add-on)
-
Heavy lifting or moving furniture (light furniture movement for cleaning underneath only)

Laundry services
-
Organization of cluttered areas
-
Biohazard cleaning, mold remediation, or hoarding situations (custom quote required)

Electronics disassembly or internal cleaning
-
Wall washing (available as add-on)
-
Chandelier or high-ceiling fixture cleaning
-
Exterior cleaning (decks, patios, gutters, siding)
-
Lawn, garden, or outdoor maintenance
-
Operation of industrial equipment not provided by Marttins Cleanings
-
Cleaning above standard step-stool height (ceilings, crown molding,
high fixtures unless specifically quoted) -
Pressure washing
-
Pest remediation or pest-related cleanup
8. Satisfaction Guarantee
We are committed to your satisfaction. If any area does not meet your expectations:

Notify us within 24 hours of service completion
-
We will return to re-clean the affected area at no additional charge
-
This guarantee applies to the agreed scope of work; requests outside the original scope will be quoted separately
Refunds are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Due to the nature of cleaning services, full refunds are not guaranteed. We prioritize making it right through re-service.
9. Health & Safety
9.1 Products, Tools & Equipment
We use professional-grade cleaning products. Clients with allergies or sensitivities must inform us before service. We can accommodate requests for specific products where possible.
Marttins Cleanings provides all necessary cleaning products, tools, and
equipment for every service. This includes:
- Professional-grade cleaning solutions and disinfectants
- Microfiber cloths, scrub brushes, and applicators
- Mops, and buckets
- Vacuum cleaners
- Personal protective equipment for our team
9.1.1 What We Use
We use professional-grade products selected for effectiveness and surface safety.
Our standard product lineup includes:
- pH-neutral all-purpose cleaners for general surfaces
- Disinfectants registered for residential and commercial use
- Glass and mirror cleaners for streak-free finish
- Degreasers for kitchen and high-grease areas
- Stone-safe cleaners for granite, marble, and natural stone
- Hardwood floor-specific cleaners
- Stainless steel cleaners and polishes
9.1.2 Client - Provided Products
Clients may request specific products for allergy, sensitivity, or personal
preference reasons. If you prefer we use your products:
- Products must be provided and accessible at the time of service
- Marttins Cleanings is not responsible for results achieved with
client-provided products
- We reserve the right to decline use of any product we determine may be
unsafe, expired, or inappropriate for the surface
9.1.3 Allergies & Sensitivities
Clients with allergies, asthma, chemical sensitivities, or environmental
concerns must notify us at the time of booking. We offer:
- Fragrance-free cleaning options upon request
- Vinegar-based alternatives for select surfaces
- Avoidance of specific ingredients when disclosed in advance
We cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment but will make reasonable
accommodations based on your needs.
9.1.4 Equipment Limitations
Our standard equipment is designed for typical residential and commercial
spaces. We do not provide or operate:
- Industrial floor buffers, polishers, or extractors (unless pre-arranged)
- Ladders exceeding standard step-stool height
- Pressure washers or exterior cleaning equipment
- Specialized equipment for medical-grade sterilization
9.1.5 Utilities & Facilities
Clients must provide access to:
- Running water (hot and cold) for cleaning purposes
- Functioning electricity for vacuum cleaners and equipment
- Adequate lighting in all areas to be cleaned
If utilities are non-functional, service may be rescheduled and our cancellation
policy will apply.
9.2 Right to Refuse Service
Marttins Cleanings reserves the right to refuse or terminate service in situations that pose a safety risk, including but not limited to:

Biohazard conditions (blood, bodily fluids, mold, infestations)

Hoarding situations (custom quote may be available)
-
Aggressive pets or hostile environments
-
Unsafe working conditions
-
Verbal abuse or harassment of team members
9.3 Illness
If a member of the household has a contagious illness, please reschedule. We extend the same courtesy and will reschedule if a team member is unwell.
10. Photography & Quality Assurance
Marttins Cleanings may take before-and-after photographs of cleaned areas for quality assurance, training, and portfolio purposes. Photos will never include identifying personal items, family photos, or confidential materials. Clients may opt out of photography upon request.
11. Care & Accountability
11.1 Our Commitment to Care
We treat your home with the same respect we treat our own. Our team is trained in proper cleaning techniques, surface-specific product application, and careful handling of household items. Quality is our reputation, and we stand behind every service we provide.
11.2 Liability Limitations

We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, normal wear and tear, or manufacturer defects

Claims for damages must be reported within 24 hours of service completion

Damage caused by improper installation, loose fixtures, unstable furniture, or structural issues is the responsibility of the property owner

Our liability for any verified damage is limited to the cost of the specific service during which the damage occurred

12. Privacy & Data Protection

13. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, images, logos, and the "We Clean. You Live." phrase, is the intellectual property of Marttins Cleanings. Reproduction without written permission is prohibited.
14. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the Atlanta metro area.
15. Changes to Terms
Marttins Cleanings reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of significant changes. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
